Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Makes for a flawless finish
Bare Escentuals bareVitamins Prime Time...I have been using this product for a few years now. It is a great primer. Goes on as smooth as silk. It minimizes the pores. Make up stays on longer and makes the face look flawless. I started using this and then switched, trying a couple other products, but I have returned to this primer. A little goes a long way, so you only need a little. And that is a plus, since it isn't cheap. It seems to be non-irritating to my skin. It doesn't make my skin feel oiler and some other primers have. And like I mentioned before, I love the silky feeling you get when applying it. It is another must have in my makeup bag!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Must in the Morning
I love Bare Minerals makeup. I've tried everyday minerals, and I love their blushes and their prices, but I love the way Bare Minerals looks on my skin. When I first started wearing it, I noticed that it didn't wear well, so by the end of the day, it looked like I wasn't wearing any makeup at all and you could see all the imperfections in my skin. It's also hard to touch up on Bare Minerals throughout the day. I know they sell a touchup kit with mineral veil, but who really has the time to do that? wouldn't you rather just not worry about it? So yeah, this stuff sets your makeup and it feels really good, kind of greasy, but once you have all your makeup on, you won't look like a big grease-bag, I promise. It's a tiny bottle for $21, and at first I thought I had been ripped off, but I use it pretty much every day for the past 3 months and it still feels like I have a lot in there. It reminds me a lot of Smashbox primer, only probably a bit thicker and more gelatinous, but it's clearish and smells like Smashbox, like gasoline or something. It smooths out my skin and my makeup stays put all day long and it looks much smoother on my skin. I have heard about using Monistat chafing gel as a primer, and it seems to be safe, so I might try it since it's cheaper.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Try Bare Escentuals - You Will Love It!
This product is an excellent prep-step to applying your Bare Escentuals products. It creates a wonderfully smooth base for your Foundation to go on top of. I have even gone without the Foundation and used this by itself when I've been in a rush. Prime-Time feels like silk when it is applied. It goes on so smooth you honestly don't even feel it on the skin! For me, I've noticed that it evens out my skin tone and also helps to reduce oil build-up on my skin. Be sure to use only 1 pump of this product and let it dry for several minutes before you apply your make-up. If you use too much, or don't let it dry enough, you will notice that it can "grab" too much of the Foundation "powder" and can look cakey. Remember that with Bare Escentuals their statement of "less is more" is definitely true in this case.

I have been using Bare Escentuals products now for the last 4 years and I refuse to use anything else. At first you will wonder "Am I doing this right"? Not to worry, you can't possibly do it wrong! It does take some time to develop your own "techniques" for applying the make-up quickly, but stay with it and you won't regret it! I have extremely pale skin and have always had trouble finding makeup that conceals the inperfections without making me look like I'm ready for Halloween everyday of the year. No matter what make-up products I tried, I always had the same result: washed-out skin that felt suffocated. The first time I applied this make-up I was amazed at how natural it looked and felt. I can't stress enough that the biggest benefit of using Bare Escentuals is the fact that you don't feel it on your skin and it looks beautiful. Your skin can breathe through the make-up and you CAN go all day without having to do touch-ups. The other benefits of using Bare Escentuals are that even if you think you've applied to much, it blends beautifully and is literally mistake-proof (try that with regular make-up). Also, you may think that it is expensive to "try", but it isn't. ALL of my first purchases are 4 years old, and the only item that I've ran out of was the foundation (and that lasted almost 2 years before I had to buy a new one)!

Buy a few starter kits (one for the face, and one for the eyes) - you really won't regret it!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Don't waste your money try monistat chafing gel instead
I use monistat chafing gel as a primer and it's a whole lot cheaper and very effective at controlling oil. The dimethicone is what helps your makeup stay put and they both have this and you'll save your money in the long run. Amazon sells them in a three pack for less than $20 and it's got free shipping. I use this with my bare minerals and it's wonderful.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - simply astounded
I have fought acne my entire life. Paying all kinds of $ to get it under control. Ihave been using the Bare Minerals make up since Dec. This stuff is amazing. I have not had any acne break outs since I have been using it. and my makeup looks flawless when I use this product. Its well worth the money!

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

T-Mobile lost a disk containing personal information on 17 million of its German mobile-phone customers in early 2006, the company confirmed.
