- Best fragrance ever made!
White Linen is a lovely, soft, exquisitely feminine fragrance. It's floral notes tone down to true soft lingering beauty. This is one of my favorite Lauder fragrances and one I really recommend. 5 stars Estee!!!

White Linen is a classic fragrance for daytime use. It's fresh, crisp scent is perfect in summer, when heavier scents can "turn"
This was my first "young ladies" scent, and remains one of my favorites.

The other White Linen items: powder, body lotions and soaps are wonderful for layering this perfume. Because it is so light, you can't overdo it.

With its crisp white and blue packaging, it makes a lovely gift for anyone.

Why would anybody review a perfume?. In my case, this is the first time I have done that, and the reason to do so is to recommend it. "White linen" is simply wonderful. Am I exaggerating?. I don't think so...

Truth to be told, I didn't buy it for myself: it was a gift. Notwithstanding that, I have gone on buying it ever since that lucky day in which I discovered it. Why?. Well, because I like it, and due to the fact that it goes well with my personality. I know, that seems a strange explanation, but it is the truth.

This perfume isn't new, in fact Estée Lauder created it in 1978, coincidently the year in which I was born. All the same, who needs a new perfume, specially when there is a old one that works so well?. This one includes, among other fragances, citrus, peach, jasmine, lilac, rose and amber. The result is unique, and very pleasant.

On the whole, I can say I recommend "White linen" for those who can appreciate a subtle but special perfume. If you want more words to describe it, I suppose I will have to look them up in my dictionary. But I guess the best course of action would be trying a sample of "White linen": then you will have no doubts of what I am talking about :)

The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.
